GPS Based vehicle Tracking

We have fixed GPS devices in all delivery vehicles to monitor driving behaviour including speeding, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, excess idling and route deviation.

We have a comprehensive Journey Management Program in place to optimize kilometres travelled by our delivery fleet with the aim to establish the safest and shortest routes for product deliveries and at the same time to combine various orders if possible.

Operation Startup

Journey Management plan refers to the plan that the driver is required to follow to ensure safe delivery of the productbeing transported. This plan defines the controls for all the identified risk of the journey. It helps to prevent road transport incidents and mitigate consequences if there were to be an incident. The observations and learning of RHM are used to formulate a generic Journey Management Plan

Whenever a new supply starts for customer or new route / site required a Journey Management Plan.

JMP covers the following details

  • Loading terminal
  • Authorized route and rest points (ARH & DRF)
  • Unloading location
  • Distance of each halt point and total distance of trip
  • Contact Requirements
  • Emergency contact numbers of police, ambulance, fire brigade, crane service
  • Hazard inputs, precaution and control measures
  • Driver working hours and fatigue
  • Traffic density and crowded area and terrain
  • Areas with security risks

  • New site confirmation will receive from customer
  • Then Preparation of route simulation
  • Route survey will be conducted
  • By the Fleet Executive and HSSE Officer
  • After the approval of the route by the Branch Manager
  • Journey Management Plan and Route Hazard Map will be Prepared
  • Sent to customer for approval of the JMP & RHM
  • JMP & RHM will be cascaded to the drivers.
